If you asked us "What does your dog do that makes you happy?" we would respond with one simple word: everything. Dogs are pure joy. Even just watching our doggo curl up into her little donut shape and sleep peacefully (or even better - when she falls asleep in a howlarious pawsition) elicits a few moist teardrops from our eyeballs, and she does this multiple times per day. We couldn't pawssibly love our doggos any more than we do now, but it's always nice to be reminded how good we have it. That's why we wanted to share this wholesome dog thread with you where the canine community opened up about all the things that their dogs do that bring them joy (it's the pawfect scroll for a mellow Monday mood).

    I own a king poodle and I absolutely adore him. Seeing him having the zoomies makes me just happy!! also, when we is laying down and just releases his sigh, like he came home from a 16 hour shift is just the best thing ever.

    Zoomies are the best! When our dog was a puppy, they were so small that they would run from one end of the house to another, darting underneath tables and chairs because they weren't tall enough yet to have to worry about bumping into the top. Too cute!

    Honestly, this. Everything they do makes us happy - from wagging their booty because they're so excited that just the tail isn't enough to snoring when they fall into a deep sleep. We love it all!

    pokentomology_prof 1d ago • My dog is going through a teenage rebellious phase right now and never wants to cuddle with me in bed at night. She goes and sleeps in her own bed when we settle down. When I wake up she's always cuddled up against me, snoring like a pig. I love her so much.

He also has a VERY thumpy tail and I LOVE when it's early morning (or he's waking from a nap) and his eyes are hardly open but he sees me and his tail gives 2 slow THUMP THUMPS

She'll hook her paws on my shoulders and lick the tears off my face. Often ruins the sad media moment, but in the best possible way. She also chooses to sleep just touching. She'll lay down away from me but then kick her leg out and scoot closer until her little paw is gently resting on me.

He'll sit in the front room and watch traffic, or go to the back room and sunbathe in his crate near the window. On most days, he'll see my car pulling into the driveway, hop down and run to his crate and pretend that he was in there the whole time.

    By the time I get inside, he's in his crate and I have to give him lovins to get him out. I even hit him with a "awww were you in the all day? Poor babbbyyyy". Also, whenever I get home he'll roll over on his back and show me belly, then he dives for my dirty socks

He also runs over to me every time he finishes his food (I think him asking for more) but I go "did you eat all your food?" and he gets all happy and wiggle-butted
